Armthorpe Welfare begin search for new manager

Northern Counties East League Premier Division outfit Armthorpe Welfare are inviting applications for a new first team manager.
The successful applicant will be the permanent replacement for former Doncaster Rovers striker Leo Fortune-West, who resigned at the start of April when the club were languishing dangerously above the relegation zone.
His assistant, ex Askern Villa boss, Brian Johnston took over – winning just one of his five games in charge.
However, the last day victory over Glasshoughton Welfare ensured survival.
But, it appears Johnston is no longer in the club’s plans for the future as a statement read: “With the conclusion of the 2012/13 season over the weekend, and with Welfare now certain of their NCEL Premier Division status next year, the club is now inviting applications for the job of first team manager.
“As a minimum you should provide a covering letter explaining your reason for applying, your vision for the club and what you can offer. You will also need to provide a detailed football CV. Both of which should be submitted via email to armthorpe.welfare@hotmail.co.uk
“Any interested people should submit their application as soon as possible as we will arrange interviews as soon as we have enough suitable applications.
“Any general questions can be emailed to the address above.”
