AFC Emley face test of the unknown as FA Cup draws are made

AFC Emley will head into the unknown when they take on Wigan Robin Park in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round at the Welfare Ground.
Emley boss Darren Hepworth (pictured above), who is aiming for promotion from NCEL Division One this season, will have to use his scouting resources to get the lowdown on their North West Counties Premier Division opponents.
Pontefract Collieries will face Ashington, who memorably knocked out Steve Kittrick’s Guiseley nearly two years ago.
Albion Sports will welcome North Shields to Throstle Nest, Glasshoughton Welfare have a visit from Jarrow Roofing, the team Farsley AFC beat in the Preliminary Round last year.
Graham Nicholas’ Garforth Town host Shildon.
The Evo Stik Division One North clubs have also received their Preliminary Round opponents.
Former Newcastle United Darren Peacock will bring his Lancaster City side to play Farsley at Throstle Nest.
Paul Lines’ Wakefield have been handed a tough home test in Division One North title hopefuls New Mills.
Scarborough Athletic will host the winners of Ashington and Pontefract.
Harrogate Railway will welcome either Tow Law Town or West Auckland Town to Station View.
The FA Vase First Qualifying Round has been draw and Yorkshire Amateur face a long trip to Penrith.
Glasshoughton will make the short journey to Askern Villa, who dropped out of the NCEL at the end of last season.
Albion Sports visit Alnwick Town and Pontefract host St Helens Town.
