FC Halifax Town target Adam Priestley makes debut for Gibraltar National side

FC Halifax Town target Adam Priestley appeared for the Gibraltar National Team in their friendly against SPL side Hibernian tonight.
Priestley, who qualifies for Gibraltar having been born over there, has yet to sign for Farsley AFC as he is attracting interest from a number of sides higher up the pyramid including Halifax and Hyde FC.
Priestley trained with Farsley last week before jetting off to train with Gibraltar ahead of the games with Hibernian and then Charlton Athletic.
Having not been originally meant to be involved in the Hibernian game, Priestley obviously impressed during training to be given a place in the squad.
Hibernian won the match 3-1 at the Victoria Stadium in Gibraltar.
Priestley, who won three awards at Farsley’s end of season presentation night in May, is set to decide his future when he returns from Gibraltar.
Whether Halifax will be still interested is a different matter as since manager Neil Aspin’s return from holiday a few days ago, ‘Fax have confirmed the signings of Guiseley forwards Kevin Holsgrove and Josh Wilson.
