Fans favourite Steven Drench signs new two year deal at Guiseley

Guiseley goalkeeper Steven Drench has officially signed a new two-year-deal at Nethermoor.
Former Leigh Genesis Drench agreed terms with Guiseley boss Steve Kittrick weeks ago, but as his wedding was his main priority, the deal was only signed this week.
Drench was originally signed as cover in August 2010 for Jon Worsnop who was facing a spell on the side-lines after being injured in a motorcycle accident, which all his team-mates were witness to.
But, his displays in the opening matches ensured the number one jersey was his and he has kept it ever since.
Because of his form over the last three seasons, Drench is arguably Kittrick’s best signing for Guiseley during his five-year reign.
