Gary Allanson returns to Bridlington Town as Mitch Cook's successor

Gary Allanson has sensationally returned to Bridlington Town as Mitch Cook’s successor.
Allanson only returned to the game a few weeks ago after two years out when he was appointed as the new Winterton Rangers assistant manager.
However, Cook’s shock departure from Queensgate yesterday has paved the way for Allanson to be given the job he quit in 2011.
Allanson, father of players Ashley and Aaron, has received a fantastic response to his appointment having led Brid to the NCEL Premier Division title in 2010.
Winterton are now searching for a new assistant manager.
