Matlock Town boss Mark Atkins has gone for another experienced forward after signing released Bradford (Park Avenue) striker Danny Holland.
Holland, who limped off early on his Avenue debut last August, scored 13 times for Avenue last season and returns to Matlock for a second spell.
Atkins decided to sign experience last summer when he recruited Lee Ellington, who failed to make an impact for Matlock and left at the end of a disappointing campaign.
Holland is one of three players that have been released by Avenue boss John Deacey.
Former Worksop Town winger Jamie Jackson has left along with Matty James (pictured above).
James, who was Deacey’s first signing as Avenue boss in December 2008, is likely to be on Farsley AFC’s radar having spent time on loan at Throstle Nest at the end of last season.
